Penelope, Kallisto and Vinter have finally found out the whereabouts of the lost children as required for the quest but things soon get messy as they witness a man getting sacrificed right in front of them in a very gruesome manner. They are left powerless as they can’t use magic or their invisibility cloak will run out.
Penelope and her group keep watching for a bit until the wizards take out a mysterious artefact which looks like a piece of glass, Vinter gets aggressive at the mere sight of this artefact and rushes to destroy it revealing his presence in the process. Kallisto couldn’t just stand by and watch him fight alone and so he also leaves his invisibility and rushes into the battle alongside Vinter.
The wizards try to stop Vinter but he instantly rushes in and breaks the artefact into pieces. Kallisto gets very angry to see such rash behaviour from him as he’s forced to fight even though he’s a crown prince but Vinter justifies his action by stating that this artefact is dangerous as it can manipulate anyone including Wizards and so if they want the children safe, it’s essential they destroy it.
Penelope gets amazed at the fighting prowess of Kallisto and Vinter and believes that it’s because both of them are her love interests. The wizards realize that there’s someone Invisible also around and so they use their piece of glass to summon even stronger monsters to deal with them which makes Kallisto and Vinter a bit anxious.
The wizards decide to throw the food to send the monsters into chaos and Penelope instantly realizes that by the food they meant the children but she’s powerless as the system is not helping her at the moment. Vinter immediately takes action and teleports all the children using a magic spell but he gets attacked from behind in the process and gets hurt.
Penelope gets shocked to see Vinter in a near-death state and thinks that he can’t die as he’s a love interest and yet she can’t bring herself to believe that what she’s seeing is indeed reality. Penelope starts to get afraid and wishes to get out of this place immediately, her mind gets swarmed with thoughts when she hears a voice, and Kallisto calls out her name.
Kallisto asks Penelope to take the lion mask and run away while he will distract the enemies. Kallisto’s words take away all the fear from Penelope’s mind and she rushes to save Vinter, her invisibility has still not run out and so no one can see her. She holds Vinter and slowly drags him away from the altar while the masked woman is distracted by all the fighting.
The artefact in the masked women’s hand starts to act up and she suddenly turns towards Penelope and looks straight at her as if she can see through the invisibility. The system comes to Penelope’s rescue as the mission window opens and after accepting the quest, Penelope is given the ability “Wrath”.
