But, nothing worked out for him. Then suddenly, he woke up when Itsuka was trying to change the towel on his head.
Later that day, while Itsuka was returning back, she met Kanoko. And the next day happened to be Valentine’s Day. While talking about chocolates, it started snowing suddenly. It reminded Itsuka of something. Something about her past. Even Nagomu remembered that it was snowing that day, too, when Itsuka came. And Itsuka remembered that it was snowing that day when she got abandoned by her father.
It must have been a nightmare for her. She used to dream of playing with her father and making snowmen during winters. But, winter started feeling colder than usual for her. The next day, Nagomu woke Itsuka up and took her outside to play. Winter started feeling warm again for Itsuka. Nagomu may not be her real father, but he did more than any real father could ever do for their daughters.
