The dark evil lord’s adventurous life did become more adventurous and dangerous at the same time, which was pretty funny but concerning. I mean, the Corpse Lord was just a human boy now. Dead Mount Death Play: Episode 13 Recap

In the previous episode of Dead Mount Death Play, a lot happened, but the story began by summarizing the last 12 episodes. It focused on Polka for the most part because, of course, he is the protagonist, but also because people are kind of suspicious of him. What is his real identity?

There were many people speculating about that because of all kinds of suspicious activities that involved him. The other characters took a backseat in the episode, and we were also introduced to a new character who is poking around Polka. The person is a reporter called Koucho, who wants to know more about him.

In the last cour of anime, there were a lot of things Polka needed to process like the Fire Breathing Bug name-dropping the Bastard Sons of Sabarmond. He is someone connected to Polka’s past and obviously, he was not expecting his name to pop up randomly this way.

In the beginning, we learn about Sabarmond. Apparently, he was a court sorcerer who ranked right above Polka’s master. Of course, it was because of political influence instead of being powerful magically. Sabarmond was a pretty mild guy, which explained why Polka was upset about his name being misused in this new world.

Polka was telling all this to Takumi. It is obvious that Takumi wanted an explanation about things considering everything. However, before it goes on any longer, the reporter Koucho makes her grand entrance. She says that she is interested in Polka’s work as a fortune teller, and she wants to interview him.

Obviously, Polka didn’t want her sticking around, but Koucho was ready to pull out her guns and threaten them. She revealed, or rather hinted, that she knew about Takumi and his strange connections to troublesome people. Koucho really did not leave Polka and the group any choice other than saying yes.
