Players can build teams, use familiar mechanics such as Pokémon types, Abilities, moves and Mega Evolution, and compete in Ranked or Casual Battles. The game also supports Pokémon HOME connectivity for certain compatible Pokémon and cross-platform play between Nintendo Switch systems and mobile devices.
