Crimson Desert has received its Version 1.14.00 update, bringing one of the game’s most requested features to players. Released on July 16, 2026, the patch introduces cross-save support alongside a wide range of bug fixes, gameplay improvements, and localization updates. The update is now available on Steam (PC), Steam (Mac), PlayStation, Xbox, and the Epic Games Store, while the Mac App Store version is still in progress.
The latest patch focuses on improving the overall gameplay experience by allowing players to carry their progress between supported platforms while also addressing several quest, combat, and audio issues that had been reported by the community.
Cross-save arrives with Crimson Desert Update 1.14.00
Alongside adding the cross-save feature, the developers also resolved a number of gameplay issues. A bug preventing completion of the quest “A Dwarf’s Concern” has been fixed, and players will no longer lose character control if a pet jumps onto the bed during an interaction.

Combat has also received small but meaningful improvements. Damiane’s “Skystep” now shares the same control input as Oongka’s “Vertical Flight”, creating more consistent controls. In addition, “Aerial Force Palm” will no longer be interrupted while the player is free-falling.
The update also fixes several technical issues, including unnatural mount animations at high speeds, missing sound effects after the battle with Praevus the Ancient, lingering audio from Ator’s Orb, and NPC pathfinding problems involving open wooden gates. The developers have also improved localization quality across all supported languages.
Players should note that while the update is available on most platforms, the Mac App Store version is still being rolled out. The development team has also advised players to check the official Known Issues page for any remaining problems that are still under investigation.
