Classroom Of The Elite is set in the timeline where the Japanese government has dedicated much of its effort to nurturing the youth for the future. They have established Tokyo Metropolitan Advanced Nurturing School, which mimics the natural world and makes the students adept in a society-like environment.
The story follows the perspective of Kiyotaka Ayanokōji, who is unseemly and doesn’t stand out in the crowd. He wants to live a quiet high school life and stay away from the center as much as possible. His plans are thwarted as he gets tangled up in the ambitions of Suzune Horikita and Kikyō Kushida. Shōgo Kinugasa and Shunsaku Tomose create a classroom for the Elite. Shōgo Kinugasa is the writer, and Shunsaku Tomose does the illustrations. Studio Lerche adapted the series into anime for seasons 1, 2, and 3.
