Ayanokouji Kiyotaka recently started attending Tokyo Koudo Ikusei Senior High School, in which it is rumored that all graduates either move on to college or find jobs. But he finds himself up in Class 1-D, which itself is packed with all the troubled kids at the school. Additionally, the school rewards students with points that have a financial value of 100,000 yen each month, and the classes have a laissez-faire atmosphere where activities like talking, dozing off, and even sabotaging are acceptable.
The stunning Horikita Suzune, however, is one student who disapproves of all the individuals who come to such opulent lives and instead chooses to live alone and avoid social interaction with others. She has come to understand that, despite the school’s lavish financial aid, there are numerous ways for “interventions for students with no money” to get help. The reality about the system in existence at their school is revealed to Ayanokouji, Horikita, and the pupils in Class D one month later.

Classroom of the Elite II Episode 7 Recap
Manabu Horikita formally resigns from his position as head of the student council. Miyabi Nagumo from Class 2-A will take his place and work to make the school a meritocracy. Following the assembly, 1-A’s Kohei Katsuragi warns Kiyotaka, Suzune, and Class-D to be cautious about Ryuen. Following his departure, Maya Sato from 1-D timidly requests Kiyotaka’s number and makes the implication that she has a crush on him. Chabashira was surprised and pleased that none of the kids were dismissed despite Class-D placing last in the Festival. The very next Special Test, Paper Shuffle, which would be their final test, is then announced to the class.
Even if student X has a score of 0 and student Y receives a score of 60, the students involved will be partnered together and must earn more than 60 points collectively to avoid expulsion. There is a criterion for the sum of the points from all subjects, and the couples will be chosen using the results of a mini-test. Each class will create exam questions that will be addressed by one of the three classes. The class that created the questions can ask other courses to administer the test; if a second request is made, there’ll be a lottery. Each class will compete against the other, and the class with the higher score will deduct 50 points from the losing class. Cheating will lead to direct suspension.
Kiyotaka and Suzune recommend getting the class ready for Paper Shuffle. As Suzune and Kiyotaka prepare for the exam, Kei, Hirata, and Sudo approach Kiyotaka and Suzune. They exchange emails about Kei seeing Maya make her confession. Suzune is getting ready to inform him about Kikyo’s background as he and Kiyotaka prepare to accompany the others as they depart to prepare. Kikyo requests to participate, much to Kiyotaka’s mistrust.
Suzune clarifies that she attended the same middle school as Kikyo. Before graduation, a class disintegrated due to an event, and Suzune believes Kikyo was the sole female student who was responsible. Suzune thinks she can turn Kikyo into an ally despite Kiyotaka’s suggestion that she get Kikyo kicked out. As Shiho Manabe, the “mastermind” of Class-D, is revealed to be the spy helping him, Ryuen scares his class by catching him. Because they saw Shiho berating Kei, Ryuen surmises that Kiyotaka or Yukimura are the masterminds.
To link the top scorers with the least scorers to establish an average threshold, Kiyotaka and Suzune reunite with the other students and come up with a plan to get some students purposely fail the mini-test. Later that evening, Kiyotaka and Kei discuss the circumstances surrounding Maya’s invitation to date, and he makes a promise to always look out for Kei. Suzune’s proposal for the mini-test was approved by the class the following day, and Kiyotaka was partnered with Maya for Paper Shuffle.
