Classroom of the Elite II Episode 7 is set to release next week. On February 21, 2022, Liche announced that the anime series had been renewed for a second season, based on the light novels for which it was originally adapted. Once again, the series will be animated by Lerche. A new boss, Yoshihito Nishōji, takes over the role of director, with Kishi and Hashimoto returning as chief directors, new scriptwriter Hayato Kazano replacing Akashiro, and new character designer Morita.
We see in episode 6 that Sudo refuses to rejoin, which leads Suzune to scold him. Sudo admits that he joined the Festival to get back at those who talked badly about him; Suzune reassures him that he must not give up and keep fighting, or he will be worthless and await his return. Kiyotaka confronts Kikyo about her traitorhood before the break ends. Although she initially denies the accusation, she poses a thought as to why Kiyotaka wouldn’t have changed the participation list if he knew she had leaked it. Her desire to see Suzune and Kiyotaka expelled finally leads her to reveal that she is the traitor, having leaked the list and sold her VIP information to Ryuen for her desire to see them expelled. Sudo is persuaded by Suzune, telling Sudo that they are both seeking acknowledgment from others in the same way.

Classroom of the Elite II Episode 6 Recap
Episode 6 starts with Sudou leaving the field after deciding not to play anymore. Despite his best efforts, he insists that he will not rejoin the team for the school festival. He advises her to give up trying to convince him. In the elevator, Horikita tells him that she will wait for him and that she is confident that he will surely return. She is just as determined as he is and refuses to accept his decision. Then Ayanokouji finally confronts Kushida as she is tying their legs together to practice running as he is on the ground. She is practicing running with him while they tie their legs together. If she had not provided Class C with crucial inside information, they would not have been able to outplay them. This helped them place the right players in each game and formulate counter strategies. Kushida appears innocent but keeps pestering him with questions to see how well he understands the situation.
He elaborates one aspect after another, making it increasingly apparent that Ayanokouji knows every detail of her plan and that she cannot hide her role in assisting Class C for long. Kushida agrees that he is correct, so he presses him a little more. However, she does not reveal why she wants Horikita expelled, but mentions that she will also target him. Ayanokouji gives his best effort in the final race but, in the end, fails to win by the tiniest margin for his class. During the final races of the festival, Horikita convinces Sudou to participate again, and Class D has renewed energy. Ayanokouji is satisfied even though his class does poorly on the overall list as he predicted such a result would help them in the future.
After the end of the school festival, Horikita meets Kushida and Ryuuen at an isolated place on the school grounds. As soon as she learns that Kushida worked behind the scenes to make class D lose, she asks her to finally come out and admit that she was working to make class D lose. Even so, Kushida still acts innocent and claims that she has not provided any inside information or worked with Ryuuen. In the end, Horikita opens up about a student in her middle school who resembles Kushida and points out that Class D has not succeeded because of her betrayal. After realizing Horikita has realized her truth too (like Ayanokouji), Kushida agrees with Horikita that she is doing this to get him and her expelled from the school.
She doesn’t surprise Horikita at all, as he’s already aware of her intentions. Kushida, however, threatens her that he’ll hunt her down if she ever exposes herself. Ryuuen also reveals the whole plan and admits he told Kikyo to get the list of Class D participants so he could place players in a manner that guaranteed victory in Class D. By acknowledging that he had urged Kinoshita to act in pain and drop out of the festival, he also gives Horikita another shock. She reveals that she has recorded everything he has said and that she won’t let him manipulate her anymore. Horikita has been very patient and calm throughout this process. Despite his explicit mention that he would entertain her delusion before revealing his plans, Ryuuen points out that he has left this out of his plans.
If he claims that he never truly accepted anything, he will always be able to use that as the basis for his argument. Ryuuen reveals that he recorded the whole conversation as well, so she could easily get herself into trouble. Horikita explains that she can always edit the audio. Then Ryuuen receives a call from Class C. It turns out that someone in Class D is also helping someone in Class C gather audio evidence against Ryuuen. Horikita decides to give up. Even though Ryuuen manages to outsmart Horikita, he can’t really manipulate her as his manipulator has evidence that he can use against him. Despite outsmarting Horikita, Ryuuen can’t really manipulate her as he might get caught.
