In season three, the Berneys are struggling to find a balance between raising their three children, who are ten, six, and one and a half years old. Each episode explores the ways in which the needs, desires, and whims of the small oddballs they adore impact and transform their lives. Kids destroy the most humorous, unexpected, and adorable moments of intimacy, laid-back weekends, and alone.
In addition to their typical parenting difficulties, the father and mother also have to deal with more complicated issues including a toddler who refuses to potty train, an adolescent who wants greater independence, and a six-year-old who wants to wear crop tops. To top it all off, Astrid and James are wondering if they have been raising their kids the wrong way after finding out something about one of them.
