Chainsaw Man Chapter 116, titled “The Taste Of Starfish,” continues with Denji telling Asa to eat starfish since she cannot eat normal fish. Hesitant at first, she does agree to eat the starfish, but they will have to boil them first since they cannot be eaten directly.
While waiting for the starfishes to be boiled, Asa notices a lot of school hats at the place and asks Denji about them. The latter says that he has been collecting them so that he can sell them once he is out of the aquarium. Asa further asks Denji about his obsession with money, to which Denji responds that he has kind of like a little sister and he is saving up for her college tuition.
After eating Starfishes, Asa forces herself to eat dried fish as well, which makes Denji laugh, and he says that she is interesting. Asa says that she has the plan to get out of the aquarium, and they both start collecting money from the bags that are spread across the aquarium.
A total of a million yen has been collected, and Asa asks Denji to give all of it to her, and in return, she will do anything that he requests once they are out of the aquarium. Using the war devil’s power, Asa intends to make the aquarium into a spear.
