In the reality show, Celebrity Task Force, 14 well-known Norwegian celebrities compete to be “admitted” to Kompani Lauritzen. The participants begin as recruits and must acquire military discipline while putting themselves through challenging exercises. After completing four training programs, the first fog fight is when three recruits are ordered to leave the group. Up until four competitors are left, who join Kompani Lauritzen, the remaining competitors fight as aspirants. One competitor must graduate from each training program before the final program takes place.
The training programs emphasize a lot on self-mastery, overcoming obstacles, and developing a sense of brotherhood. The players are frequently forced into the “basement,” which is out of their comfort zones. It also emphasizes all the amusing scenarios that occur when people are exposed to military discipline.
The idea of the reality show was developed by a former professional military officer in the Norwegian Armed Forces in accordance with the fundamental principles, practices, and training grounds that serve as the foundation for armed forces recruit training.
The level of training is so tough that many contestants leave the show voluntarily, unable to bear the pressure and strict lifestyle.
The last season, Season 3 declared contestant Emilie Enger Mehl as the winner of the reality show and was appointed as the Minister of Justice after the show.
