Being the highest-ranked Norwegian Tennis player in the world, Casper Ruud certainly could become one of the greatest players in Tennis History. Not only is he infamous for his skilled shots, but also for his charming personality and respectable sportsmanship on the court.
From starting Tennis at a young age, Casper Ruud owes his interest in the sport to his father, Christian Ruud, who was a well-known tennis player in the years 1991 up until 2001. Having known what he wanted from early on, Casper focused all of his teenage years on junior tennis, where he was able to win several championships. Although he has only improved since then, Ruud’s performance is just as refreshing as it was when he first began playing the sport.
After successfully becoming No. 225 in ATP Rankings, Casper proceeded to be a part of the ATP 500 event, where he lost in the third round of the challenge. He didn’t lose hope and got back into the 2017 Australian Open by a wild card entry. Although Ruud was only able to get far into the semifinals, he was able to increase his ranking to about 133. Following these matches, the year 2018 was filled with major debuts for Casper Ruud. Since then the tennis player has made some historic wins, eventually getting ahold of a stunning No. 2 ranking.

He was brought up in the Snarøya region of Bærum, which is where he spent most of his early years. Casper has been in a relationship with Maria Galliagni since 2018, with the pair keeping most of their relationship extremely private and only appearing together during matches, where Maria can be seen supporting Casper from the audience.
