Now that the matters with Bella had been settled, it was time to act on the next most annoying factor, that is Sonia. Rosalie is a pretty strong female character, as we have already seen, so it was satisfying to watch her talk back to Sonia and put her in her place. Also, the dynamic between Rosalie and the male lead is really cute.
The chemistry between them is becoming more and more explosive as the story is progressing. We are hoping to see more of Rosalie and the masked man in future chapters. We will see what happens to Bella in Captain! Is This Battlefield Here? Chapter 30, although things aren’t looking up for her.
Sonia might also try to pull something off now that Rosalie has properly humiliated her and even thrown her out of her room. She looked really angry when she left, so there is a good chance that she will be plotting something. As things go, we can only hope that Rosalie comes out of it unscathed.
Sonia always enjoyed putting Rosalie down and taking things away from her. She can’t seem to be able to digest the fact that Rosalie is now standing up to her and basically kicking her aside. Sonia was convinced that Rosalie would back off and give up Derebeth to her just because she asked.
The plot is pretty typical, but the rare strong female character with combat knowledge makes it more interesting. Plus, the male lead of the series is also quite charming.

In the previous chapter of Captain! Is This Battlefield Here? Sonia comes over to see Rosalie even though they had a bad argument last time. Sonia says that she is very distressed about something and also wants to apologize for whatever she did the last time. Rosalie could already tell she was being insincere.
It was pretty funny to see her act all superior especially when she talked about Derebeth, saying she likes him and whatnot. Rosalie really doesn’t give her the answer she wants, which makes her reveal her true colors, and she says that it is Rosalie’s last chance since she is her only friend.
Even the maid was confused about what was happening since she had never seen Sonia look that angry. After she leaves, Rosalie begins practicing swordsmanship, and she is probably a bit on edge because of the war threat. She decides to rest and basically ends up falling asleep.
When she woke up, Derebeth was already sitting by her side and letting her sleep peacefully. It was cute to see him all concerned about Rosalie catching a cold and all. The two share a really cute moment together before Rosalie leaves to check the shipment that has arrived.
Derebeth looked a bit shaken up and flustered. Rosalie sees that the Countess has sent her magical explosive devices, which are basically grenades. She felt happy since they would be a huge help when the war ultimately broke out. The knights were all following Rosalie around like a puppy, which was also cute to see.
