Brandi Glanville recently shared her approach to co-parenting during the holidays, revealing why she spent Christmas with her ex-husband, Eddie Cibrian. The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star emphasized her dedication to their two sons, Mason, 21, and Jake, 17.
“I went to my ex’s house because of my kids. You don’t understand the love I have for these children,” the 52-year-old explained on her podcast, Brandi Glanville Unfiltered, on December 29. “I would take a bullet for them.”
Glanville and Cibrian were married from 2001 to 2010, and since their split, Cibrian has been married to LeAnn Rimes. This year, Glanville joined Cibrian and Rimes for a “modern family” Christmas celebration, which was shared on Instagram.
During her podcast, Glanville addressed the attention surrounding the holiday photo, noting that Rimes had posted it first on December 25. Glanville reshared it a day later.
“I got a lot of texts about the picture,” she said. “But I didn’t post it first; it was already up. What was I supposed to do? Sit at home alone on Christmas or spend it with my kids and my in-laws, who I love?”
Glanville stressed the importance of prioritizing her children despite past conflicts with Cibrian. “Having two separate holidays f—s kids up,” she said. “My friend is going through a divorce, and her first Christmas without her kids was devastating for everyone involved.”
While admitting she has faced challenges since her divorce, Glanville noted that she’s grown stronger through the process.
Reflecting on the celebration, she said, “I can step into a room with a f—ed up face and not care. As long as everyone’s happy, the kids are having fun, and the food is good, it’s all worth it.”
Glanville’s Instagram post from the holiday also referenced her ongoing health concerns, thanking Rimes for offering support. “Not my favorite look, but I felt all the love from my modern family,” she captioned the post.
Through her candid remarks, Glanville continues to highlight the importance of family unity, even in unconventional situations.
