BoA is gearing up for a highly awaited comeback to her singing career. As reported on March 3rd, she is actively preparing for her return, with plans to reveal a new single by the end of this month.
Having completed the filming of her music video recently, it’s evident that the finishing touches for her comeback are in full swing.
This comeback signifies BoA’s first musical release since her third mini-album ‘Forgive Me’ in November 2022, marking approximately a year and four months since fans last enjoyed new music from her.
During this hiatus, BoA has continued her involvement in the music scene by joining the project girl group GOT the beat and featuring as a member of the tvN variety program ‘The Dancing Wanderers Stage Compilation’ (Dancing Urangdan).
BoA has further demonstrated her acting prowess, notably in the tvN drama ‘Marry My Husband’, where she captivated audiences with her portrayal of a new villain in the latter half of the series. Playing the role of Oh Yura, the fiancée of Yu Ji-hyuk (played by Na In-woo), her depiction of a sharp and ruthless character made a lasting impact on viewers.
Choosing to skip the reward vacation planned for the cast of ‘Please Marry My Husband‘, BoA has immersed herself directly into the preparations for her musical return.
Fans are eagerly anticipating the type of music BoA will offer following her break from solo endeavors.
BoA is scheduled to attend the debut showcase of the new boy group NCT WISH at Seoul’s Blue Square Mastercard Hall in Yongsan-gu on April 4th. Directly produced by BoA herself, NCT WISH has garnered significant attention, topping Japan’s Oricon Daily Single Chart with their debut single ‘WISH’ after their debut at the Tokyo Dome on February 21st.
SM Entertainment provided the photo accompanying the announcement, showcasing BoA’s multifaceted talents and ongoing impact in the K-pop industry.
