The second episode of Blue Bloods Season 14 seemed just like any other. However, the battle between Jamie and Joe helped Joe to finally grasp something, and Frank’s disagreement with the mayor concerned Frank’s job security.
Were these tentative moves taken in order to conclude matters prior to the autumn series finale? Because he didn’t know his father, didn’t grow up with the Reagans, and wasn’t sure how he felt about them, Joe Hill has always been an outsider.
According to the CBS synopsis for Blue Bloods Season 14 Episode 2, “Dropping Bombs,” “Danny and Baez team up with Danny’s former partner, Jackie Curatola (Jennifer Esposito), when a serial killer reappears.” Eddie encounters opposition when she attempts to assist a lady who has accused a sergeant of sexual assault.
Recap
He didn’t want a relationship with Frank Reagan or his uncles when he initially entered the picture. Though he’s gradually made progress in that direction, he frequently causes Jamie or Danny problems at work.
That made the current confrontation between Joe and Jamie no different from previous Joe Hill plots. Joe put both the operation and Jamie’s life in danger when he carelessly broke into his hiding place without first making sure Jamie was present.
After that, as usual, neither of them would give up. This narrative differed from all others about Joe Hill only in two ways: Frank didn’t get involved, leaving everything up to Sid, and Joe acknowledged that he was happy to be a member of the family.
Although it was a lovely speech, Joe’s plot was ended by it. At last, he’s found his position inside the Reagan family.
I hope he makes more appearances soon! Joe doesn’t make frequent appearances, but it would be strange if he abruptly vanished the moment he expressed how much it meant to him that the Reagans welcomed him into their family.
Meanwhile, Danny has been searching for the most recent victim of the serial killer. Dr. Walker was able to seize another woman inexplicably. He was tricked by Danny into disclosing the location of his most recent victim’s stockpile.
Thus, the only thing the case accomplished was to reunite Danny and Jackie. Since Danny hasn’t been dating Jackie seriously, nobody is aware of him. Sometime in the future, a door might open. Frank alone was beginning to believe that he and Mayor Chase couldn’t cooperate.
Frank was just trying to do his job; the Mayor was too irregular with his word choice and too preoccupied with the upcoming elections. The following Sunday dinner as a family was a success. Joe was back at the event.
