Queendom 2 is a South Korean reality competition show where six girl groups battled against each other to determine who gets the first position. The show premiered on March 31, 2022, and made our Thursdays much more exciting and thrilling.
The 6 talented girl groups in the show were Hyolyn, Viviz, Brave Girls, WJSN, Loona, and Kep1er. Although the competition might sound very serious and filled with tension, we all know how beautiful and stress relieving these episodes were because we also got cute behind the scenes and interactions between the idols which made our hearts melt.
As we know, the winner’s spot is taken by WJSN, who proved their immense versatility and talent during these episodes, and fans were highly impressed by them and very happy with the results. WJSN took the crown with the highest score of 81,020 out of 100,000. The scoring system was also revealed where 40,000 points were revealed in the first three rounds and the rest 60,000 points were determined during the finale which was streaming live.

The emotional moment where Brave Girls turned the tables
Brave Girls, currently a four-member group had one of the most emotional best moments from Queendom 2 when they won during the dance unit stage. Before this stage, the girl group ranked very low which made them very sad, and even they were not sure what was going wrong with their performance. But during the dance unit stage, Eunji of Brave Girls along with Loona’s Olivia, Yves, Choerry, and Heejin performed ‘Tam-I-Na’, which was a highly difficult choreography by Monika of Prowdmon fame. They made the stage thrilling and despite the difficult choreography, they managed to impress everyone.
Let us also mention that every other competitor was trying to avoid this choreography because it was that intimidating. This made it all the more meaningful that the girls won the challenge which also became the first win for Brave Girls on the show.
The members of WJSN ‘flying’ into our hearts in “Pantomime”
After watching WJSN’s performance on “Pantomime”, we can surely see why they won in the finale. We saw that four of the members were flying in the performance which surprised everyone. And not just this, the performance was also filled with LED and hologram tricks which again blew our minds and became viral, and one of the best moments from Queendom 2.
Kep1er’s cute behind-the-scenes
As we already mentioned there were many behind the scenes which excited the fans and Kep1er owned our hearts with their playful mood during the unit workshop. All of it started when Yeojin of Loona screamed that Dayeon should twerk during the performance and while they were performing, Xiaoting, Hikaru, Dayeon and SinB ended up shocking everyone with their twerking.
When Viviz moved everyone to tears by performing GFriend’s unreleased song in the finale
For the people who don’t know, Viviz is a girl group of three members who were former Gfriend members. So, it was natural that when they performed an unreleased song by Gfriend, fans got really emotional. Even though their agency recommended them to have a strong and bold stage, they chose to show their love for GFriend and performed ‘Red Sun’ which was originally made four years ago. And thus, it became one of the best moments in Queendom 2.
When Hyolyn was named “Korea’s Beyonce”
Hyolyn definitely proved what it is to be talented when she did an aerial stunt while performing ‘So What’ by Loona which was an iconic moment in Queendom 2. As a result, she ended up with perfect scores and won both 1st as well as 2nd rounds. Along with this, Pentagon’s Hongseok also named her “Korea’s Beyonce”.
