In the story, we meet a Bu Yong-Joo who is a doctor but goes through a very tragic incident that changes his whole life. He changes his name to Kim Sa-bu and starts working as a chief surgeon in a small hospital in the Gangwon Province.
We see a whole character development Kim Sa-bu and also of Kang Dong-Joo and Yoon Seo-Jeong, who are trainees under him.
