Beast’s Flower Chapter 27 will be the latest installment in Romance Drama Manhwa. The story follows the life of the oldest daughter of the Valencia Family, Lyla Violet D’Valencia. She was born with an unyielding stench that overwhelmed anyone. It was almost as if it was a curse.
She spent most of her life in solitude with only a couple of people who she could believe genuinely cared for her. When she got older, she was moved to a cabin far inside the woods, away from everyone she knew.
Her family completely abandoned her, apart from giving her just enough supplies to survive off of. And soon, they stopped even that. It wasn’t until Viorst Black D’Onlion, The Crown Prince of the Empire, came to visit their small town that things started to improve.
While others found her stench to be unbearable, Viorst found it irresistible. He urged her to come with him back to the capital several times, but she denied each time. However, his constant persistence wore her down, and she went with him to his palace.
Viorst is the son of Clark D’Onlion, the 3rd Emperor of the Empire. They are part of the Onlion family, who are known as the Lions of the Gods. They were the ones who unified the Empire and brought it back from the brink of war.
The Onlion family has been blessed by the Gods with a special ability that is inherited by the males of their family generation after generation. They can shapeshift into animals. Viorst, using this ability, can turn himself into a Black Panther, increasing his strength immensely.
The reason behind Lyla’s condition was revealed. It was no fault of her own, and she is not the only one. It was a condition set by the gods to allow the men of the Onlion family to procreate.
The only way for them to pass on their shapeshifting ability is by finding and impregnating a woman who emanates a stench that’s unattractive to everyone but irresistible to those from the Onlion lineage. Furthermore, after spending the night with Viorst, Lyla’s stench disappeared completely from her body.
What Viorst didn’t tell Lyla was that she would die after giving birth to his child as she would absorb all of her life force. We met Viorst’s father and the 3rd Emperor of the Empire, Clark D’Onlion. They seem to have a strained relationship.
He seems to have an ability that he did not pass on to Viorst and will only do so after he sires a child. We also met Viorst’s uncle Lumiere Destry D’Onlion, who looks exactly like Viorst but has white hair. He is not on board with Viorst’s decision to impregnate Lyla, sealing her fate.

In the last chapter, we find out that Lyla is pregnant with Viorst’s child. Lyls is overjoyed that their plan to stop Viorst’s marriage with Elizabeth Remoate is going as planned. She was even more overjoyed because Viorst, after coming to see her, asked her to marry him. Viorst seemed happy on the outside; however, on the inside, he was ridiculing Lyla for being so naive.
Later that day, there was a Ball at the Imperial Palace to celebrate the return of the Emperor. Everyone seems to be stealing glances at Viorst. It seems that a rumor about Viorst making a woman pregnant had already spread.
The scene then changes to Cecil and Sury. Sury is Viorst’s attendant, and Cecil used to be Viorst’s nanny but now takes care of Lyla. Sury appears to have professed his love to Cecil, but she rejects him, claiming that she does not deserve to be happy.
Back at the Ball, we see a person giving Viorst a beautiful necklace, which he later gives to Lyla. The next day, he is spending time with Lyla, and he seems to be “worried” about her health. He comments about her morning sickness as well as her complexion. Lyla assures him that she will be fine. Viorst then proceeds to grab her into his arms, telling her that he wants her at this moment.

Lyla’s health seems to be deteriorating slowly. She doesn’t know it’s because of her child, and Viorst has no qualms to tell her either. Even if he does, she seems to be madly in love with him and might just be on board with this decision. However, the story might not carry on like that.
She is the main character, after all, and plot armor is the strongest type of protection there is. We saw a glimpse of how heartless Viorst was. It was so unexpected as he is so sweet and caring when he is with Lyla. Let’s see how the story progresses.
