The casting news was revealed during the series’ panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2026, where fans also received an early screening of the season premiere and fresh details about what lies ahead for Gotham’s Dark Knight.

The announcement adds even more anticipation to the return of the critically acclaimed animated noir series from Bruce Timm, J.J. Abrams, and Matt Reeves.
