House of the Dragon is an epic fantasy drama series set nearly 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones. Based on George R.R. Martin’s Fire & Blood, the HBO series explores the rise and fall of House Targaryen, focusing on the brutal succession conflict known as the Dance of the Dragons. The story follows King Viserys I Targaryen, Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen, Prince Daemon Targaryen and the powerful families fighting for control of the Iron Throne.
