About Attack on Titan
Let’s begin with a brief introduction to the topic, what is Attack on titan and what is its origin. The Japanese series was released as a manga written and illustrated by Hajime Isayama. It belongs to the shonen genre and centers on the concepts of action and dark fantasy. The manga was published by Kodansha Publications, and an English version was released by Kodansha USA. It was serialized in Bessatsu Shonen Magazine starting on 9th September 2009. It ended with 34 tankobon volumes on 9th April 2021. It received an anime adaption from two leading anime productions studios. Episodes 1- 59 were produced by Wit Studio, and the rest were created by MAPPA Studio.
Everything about the series is very good as it was released on 7th April 2013. It is still running and currently has 87 episodes and 8 OVAs. Few anime films based on Isyama’s original story were also released that gained a similar amount of love and popularity.
Plot
The main thing that made the anime super popular was its plot. It turned out to be something that was never seen in the history of anime. If you ever wish to binge over something unique then this anime is for you. The anime takes us into a fictional world where the last humans on earth live inside the safety of three huge walls. These walls are named ‘Maria’, ‘Rose’ and ‘Sina’. All of these are named after the three daughters of the late king of Paradis. Humanity is trapped inside the walls because the rest of the ground is affected by huge humanoid creatures that eat humans. The creatures don’t have to eat them to survive, but that is a natural instinct in them to feast on humans.
The story begins centering on the main character of the series Eren Yeager. A young boy who lives inside the wall along with his parents and close friends. He always dreams of going outside the walls and exploring the world. However, everything was shattered to nothing when the Armored Titan smashed the wall and made way for other titans to enter the territory. This caused havoc in the area, and Eren had to witness his mother getting eaten alive by a titan. He fleed to the second wall along with his friends Armin and Mikasa. The incident affected the protagonist very much as he decided to get enrolled in Survey Corps and kill all the titans outside the walls.
Previously On Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 2
Shingeki no Kyojin Season 4 was released as a final season of the series on 10th January 2021. The First Episode was titled “The Other Side of the sea,” as it takes us to the time when Eren and his team go to Marley as they plan an attack to get the War Hammer Titan. Its Part 1 also ended with a lot of suspense as finally, we got to stream Part 2 on 13th February 2022. The First Episode was titled “Judgement” and took us into the time when Levi gets into a fight with Zeke. However, Zeke escaped, and Levi was highly injured due to the blast. This was the time when we got to see the Survey Corps being divided into two parts. The one who supported Eren became Yagerists, and other remained as the traitors of Eldia.
The Island got attacked by the Marley army, and almost all of them came to fight Eren. The series progressed as the nightmare came upon the world. The time when the series was about fighting titans is not the same anymore. Now Zeke and Eren are not enemies but brothers who are coming together to fulfill each other’s wishes. But Eren betrayed Zeke’s wishes and activated the rumbling, and a whole army of Colossal Titans came out of the walls and marched to flatten the world. Meanwhile, Eren, who used the founding titan’s power, turned into a huge titan, larger than ever seen in history. On the other hand, Hange, Mikasa, Armin, and others joined forces with Marley forces to stop Eren.
AOT Season 4 Part 2 ended with Allied forces reaching the nearest country along with the Azumabito so they could get a plane ready. However, the last Episode totally showed the flashbacks of Mikasa as she remembers the time when they went on a visit to Marley. That time officially turned out to be the last time when both of them had a good interaction.
Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 2 Review
The time has finally come, and after a whole decade, the most popular anime series, Attack on Titan, will end soon. It has been a total of 4 seasons of the series, and each one of them gave the same amount of entertainment to viewers. It perfectly animated the manga material and captivated the fans for a long time. Shingeki no Kyojin Season 4 Part 2 was released this year and ended very quickly. Each Episode of this Season did justice to the manga. If you are a manga reader and have streamed the anime after reading the manga, then you will feel that right. Every manga reader was able to connect with the plot and felt the pain every Episode delivered.
This Season especially brings us close to the idea of the children who suffer from war. One such ideal example is Gabi, who simply ran by hatred towards Eren and literally became a murderer at a young age. Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 2 was full of war and violence and not a signal Episode that went without the display of violence. On the basis of entertainment, we will call it action, but on a humanistic approach, this is the saddest thing that can happen to humanity. Other than this, the animation very well matched the concept of it being a dark anime series. It took us to Levi, who was badly injured and literally had his face covered with blood.
Sailors who came forward to fight against the rumbling got skinned out due to the steam of the colossal titans. We also got to see Mikasa in full action as he slaughters the Yeagerists and literally baths in Blood. Activation of rumbling bright the horror upon the world and that’s what we call chills in the spine. The highlight became the back story and history of the origin of Titans. If you want to know how these creatures came into being then this season is very important. It will also take you into the flashbacks of the founder Ymir. How she became the first titan and later got divided into 8 types of titans.
Isayama did a great job planning the plot distribution, and so did the anime that took us into every inch of the information from the manga. So, if you are planning to skip this Season in any way, then I recommend you to drop this idea and dive in to express the fear and misery.
