Attack on Titan: Brave Order is officially ending service in Japan today, September 28, 2026, bringing the mobile RPG’s four-year run to a close. Developed by enish Inc., the game is scheduled to shut down its servers at 5:30 PM JST, permanently ending access to its online content and multiplayer features.
Released for iOS and Android on February 11, 2022, Brave Order remained exclusive to Japan throughout its lifespan. The game never received an official global release, leaving international Attack on Titan fans unable to access it through standard regional app stores.
Brave Order Brought the Survey Corps to Mobile
Attack on Titan: Brave Order combined RPG progression with real-time cooperative battles for up to four players. Players could fight alongside familiar Survey Corps members, including Eren Yeager, Mikasa Ackermann, Armin Arlert, Levi, Hange Zoë, and Erwin Smith.
One of the game’s major attractions was its use of the original anime voice cast. Yuuki Kaji, Yui Ishikawa, Marina Inoue, Hiroshi Kamiya, Romi Park, and Daisuke Ono reprised their respective roles, helping the mobile title maintain the feel of the anime.
The game also featured original scenarios created specifically for Brave Order, giving players additional stories set within the Attack on Titan universe. According to GameTrader, the game accumulated roughly 180,000 downloads across iOS and Android during its lifetime.
With the servers closing, players will no longer be able to access the game’s online missions or original content. The shutdown also means there will be no offline version available after the service ends.
The closure arrives as the franchise prepares for another major gaming release. Attack on Titan 3, developed by Omega Force and Koei Tecmo, is scheduled to launch worldwide on December 10, 2026, for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
Unlike Brave Order, the upcoming title is being positioned as a full-scale console and PC release covering the Attack on Titan story from beginning to end. Its worldwide availability will also give international fans an official way to experience a new game based on the franchise.
For Brave Order players, however, September 28 marks the end of a four-year chapter. The Japan-exclusive RPG will disappear from active service after maintaining its mobile presence since 2022.
