Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced Switch 2 Release Rumor Gains Strength With New Controller

The possibility of Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced coming to Nintendo Switch 2 has gained new attention after an officially licensed controller tied to the game was spotted with explicit Switch 2 compatibility. The accessory was previously seen through retailer listings, but Lexip’s own product page now confirms that its Black Flag Resynced Advanced Pro Tattoo Controller works with Nintendo Switch 2.

That does not confirm the game itself is headed to Nintendo’s console. Ubisoft previously confirmed that Black Flag Resynced would launch without a Switch 2 version, meaning this latest discovery could point to a future port rather than a launch release.

The Lexip controller is part of an officially licensed Lexip and Ubisoft Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced collection. The accessory features Hall effect sticks and triggers, programmable controls, and 2.4GHz wireless connectivity, with Lexip specifically listing Nintendo Switch 2 among its supported platforms.

The discovery is particularly interesting because the controller carries the Black Flag Resynced branding rather than simply being a generic Assassin’s Creed accessory. A retailer listing previously pointed to a September 22, 2026 date, further fueling speculation that Ubisoft could eventually announce a Switch 2 version.

For now, however, the game remains unconfirmed for Nintendo’s system. Ubisoft’s official information confirms Black Flag Resynced as a remake of the original pirate adventure, but it does not currently list Switch 2 among its supported platforms.
