ARC Raiders Update 1.42, bringing the next major phase of the Phantom Targets storyline to the extraction adventure. The update is available now and introduces Part 2 of the six-stage Phantom Targets Player Project, alongside a separate event running through September 7.
Part 2 allows Raiders to continue the six-step project and earn weapons, gear, blueprints, gameplay items, Raider Tokens and a Computer Mouse Backpack Charm. Completing the full project also unlocks additional rewards as players investigate the mysterious ARC activity.
The Phantom Targets Player Event is now live as well, giving players opportunities to earn Merits and unlock the Anomalia set, cosmetics, gameplay rewards and Raider Tokens. According to Embark Studios, the strange activity has been traced to erratic Wasps displaying unusual behavior and carrying unidentified technology.
The update also adds the Tick Hunter Set, priced at $20, featuring four outfit color variants, a backpack, charm, face tattoo and 2,400 Raider Tokens. Regional Map Condition scheduling has also been introduced, shifting schedules around regional peak hours to make different conditions easier to experience and plan around.
The update further includes gameplay fixes, performance improvements, anti-cheat measures and new Twitch Drops.
