Arc Raiders has received Store Update 1.37.0, bringing a small cosmetic addition while also addressing several issues reported by the community. The latest update introduces two new color variants for the popular Driftcoat outfit, confirms that a fix is in development for the Seeker Grenade, and provides an update on the studio’s ongoing action against players who abused the recent duplication glitch.
Players who already own the Driftcoat outfit do not need to purchase the new variants separately. According to the developers, the black/green and red versions are being added automatically across all platforms without requiring a game restart.
Beyond cosmetics, the team also acknowledged community feedback about the Seeker Grenade feeling weaker following last week’s patch, explaining that an unintended projectile collision change caused the issue. The developers confirmed they are actively working on a solution and will share more details once the fix is ready.
Arc Raiders addresses gameplay bugs and exploit enforcement
In addition to the Seeker Grenade investigation, Embark Studios is fixing another reported issue involving the “Deal Damage” challenge. Players who reached 100,000 damage dealt were being automatically signed up for Departure, which the studio confirmed was unintentional. A fix is currently in development.
The update also outlines the next phase of enforcement following last week’s duplication glitch fix. Embark Studios said it has continued reviewing affected accounts and is taking different actions depending on the severity of the exploit.
Players who only made limited use of the exploit may receive warnings, while Coins and items obtained through exploit activity are being removed. The most severe offenders, especially those who significantly impacted the in-game economy or other players, are receiving suspensions.
The studio clarified that players who deliberately exploited the glitch but gained little advantage will not be suspended. Likewise, those who unknowingly received duplicate items from other players may only receive a warning instead of harsher penalties.
Explaining its approach, the development team said,
“Our goal is to only take action against those who significantly and deliberately abused the exploit, not to catch players who were incidentally affected.”
The developers also thanked players who reported the issue and continued playing fairly while investigations remain ongoing.
