Apple of my eye is a captivating family drama series from South Korea that sheds light on a beautiful relationship that a father and daughter share.
The love and care between a father and daughter create an invincible and emotional bond that this show gorgeously brings to visuals. The show’s feelings are so well reciprocated that language doesn’t come as a barrier.

The story of this series is all about a single father named Kang San who has his daughter to raise for whom he gives his best as a nursing care worker besides running a side dish store.
He loves his daughter to the moon and back and supports and cares for her a lot. Her name is Jan Di, and she is the apple of his eye. Jan Di wishes to be a K-Pop idol.
On the other hand, she is the adopted daughter of Hwang Dong Food Group, Mi Rae. Kang San, a loner, is destined to fall for Mi Rae, but what happens when her lover Ju Hyuk comes into the picture?
Apple of My Eye Episode 74 Recap
The episode begins with Geum Kang San, who is out grocery shopping. He then notices Ok Mi Rae in a devastated state and approaches her.
She takes her for some tea so she feels better. He asks her if she can share what is affecting her if she’s comfortable. She says that the person he has relied upon is hurting her, and she wants answers but keeps running away.
Although she does not tell him directly, she is heartbroken about getting to know about Ju Hyuk’s affair. Kang San comforts her and tells her to think about what she wants.
When she returns home, Ju Hyuk is already waiting for her. He insists on having a conversation alone. Meanwhile, Jae Hyun asks his mother if she saw Soo Ji. She tells him that she left a while ago.
Ju Hyuk tries to convince them that there is nothing between him and Cha Yu Jin. Back in the US, the two dated for a while, and now it’s over. He insists that she just met him casually one day and is obsessed with him. Mi Rae does not believe him.
Choi Soo Ji is at the bar with Mr Eun. She is mad at her husband and tensed that Ju Hyuk will take all the wealth. She drinks uncontrollably. Soon, Ju Hyuk arrives there and spots the two. When Soo Ji loses control, and Eun tries to help her, Ju Hyuk clicks their pictures.
Back at home, Hong Do, Ye Joo, and Kang San talk about the help offered by the chairman to find Seon Joo. They are hopeful that they will soon reunite with her. On her way to school, Jan Di tells her father, Kang San, that she does not want him to cry and that she loves him more than her mother.
President Kyu Chul gets to see some objectionable pictures and decides to meet Cha Yu Jin. He tells her that he knows she’s used multiple men for money.
He wants her to go back to the US and stay away from Ju Hyuk. In the last scene, Ju Hyuk gets the pictures of Choi Soo Ji and Eun delivered to Jae Hyun, and he is enraged seeing them.
In the next episode, we will see Soo Ji and Eun sharing a romantic-funny moment. Ju Hyuk will forcefully drag Mi Rae along, and Kang San will stop him.
