Apex Legends x Cyberpunk Event Goes Live With Night City Map, New Cyberware Abilities, and Exclusive Skins

The long-awaited Apex Legends x Cyberpunk crossover has officially launched, introducing one of the game’s biggest themed events to date.

Available now across all supported platforms, the collaboration between Respawn Entertainment and CD PROJEKT RED transforms Apex Legends’ E-District into a futuristic battleground inspired by Cyberpunk 2077, complete with new Cyberware abilities, exclusive cosmetics, and limited-time gameplay mechanics.

The event was announced by Electronic Arts through its official blog and launches as part of the ongoing Apex Legends: Overclocked season.

Night City takes over Apex Legends’ E-District

For the duration of the crossover, players can explore a redesigned E-District featuring towering neon skylines, holographic koi floating through the city, and glitched Cyberpunk-inspired visuals that recreate the atmosphere of Night City.

The event also introduces a limited-time Wildcard mode featuring two powerful Cyberware upgrades. Sandevistan gives players rapid directional dashes, allowing them to close distances or escape danger by chaining movement through the air.

Meanwhile, Blackwall Breach lets players phase into the Net before reappearing with an EMP blast that disrupts nearby opponents.

As players continue fighting, they also build Cyberware Capacity. Once the meter fills completely, Cyberpsychosis activates, dramatically increasing movement speed and melee damage while temporarily disabling weapons, shields, abilities, and throwable equipment.

New Cyberpunk-themed skins and Mythic weapon arrive

The collaboration also expands Apex Legends’ cosmetic lineup with eight new Legend skins for Axle, Sparrow, Lifeline, Crypto, Rampart, Loba, Ash, and Gibraltar.

Players can also unlock the Mythic Skippy Alternator, inspired by the iconic smart weapon from Cyberpunk 2077. In addition, eight themed weapon skins have been added for the Wingman, Charge Rifle, Mastiff, L-STAR, P2020, RE-45, R-301, and Kraber.

The official event trailer showcases many of these additions while highlighting the visual overhaul of E-District and the fast-paced Cyberware mechanics.

The Apex Legends x Cyberpunk event is now available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via the EA App, Steam, and the Epic Games Store.
