Earlier this year, the ladies of The Real Housewives of New Jersey had different plans for their vacation than they had anticipated.
During his recent interview with Danny Pellegrino on SiriusXM’s Radio Andy, Andy Cohen said that the cast of The Real Housewives of New Jersey had originally planned to take a vacation to the Berkshires in Massachusetts. However, a fire forced them to change their travel schedule.
Pellegrino started the conversation by asking when Bravo fans could get another chance to see Blue Stone Manor, the Berkshire home that was formerly owned by Dorinda Medley, a cast member of Real Housewives of New York City. Season 2 of The Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip and RHONY both used this residence during production.
Cohen clarified internet rumors
During their conversation, Pellegrino brought up an internet rumor that claimed the RHONJ cast trip was canceled because season 14 would be “boring.” Cohen made it clear that this was untrue and restated the reason for the trip’s cancellation—that is, the residence they were supposed to stay in caught fire.
The cast of Real Housewives of New Jersey had planned to film at Dorinda’s residence, according to Andy Cohen. One day before they were supposed to depart, the vacation was canceled due to a fire incident at the accommodation they had booked, drastically altering their original plans.
Cohen clarified that Bravo decided against allowing the RHONJ ladies to remain at Blue Stone Manor, highlighting the fact that this would have resulted in a very different show.
Pellegrino has a new book in his pocket
Pellegrino, promoting his book “The Jolliest Bunch: Unhinged Holiday Stories, A Collection of Tragically Hilarious Holiday Mishaps,” asked Cohen if he was bothered by the allegation, to which Cohen replied, “I didn’t pay attention to that.” “But, you know, there’s no shortage of annoying things,” he continued. There is an endless supply of irritating falsehoods, partial truths, lies, and fabrications in the world.”
Cohen stressed that he continues to advance in spite of this. Early in 2024, Bravo is expected to premiere the upcoming season of RHONJ.
