Another Australian survival show is set to land on our TV screens soon, and fans are excited to learn more about it. We will reveal the launch date for Australia’s adaptation of the US reality TV series Alone. The survivor who outlasts everyone else will receive $250k in this Australian spin-off of an American TV franchise.
Survival specialists will be abandoned in the wilderness entirely unaided and without a camera crew. The post will illuminate the Alone Australia episode 1 release date and streaming guide. This one will take place in locations as harsh as the Lutruwita (Tasmanian) bush rather than remote parts of the planet like Patagonia, Mongolia, or the real Arctic of the previous seasons.
Ten competitors in Alone Australia will be left in isolated, several kilometers apart places in western Tasmania with a rucksack containing ten survival supplies they can select from a predetermined shortlist. Additionally, contestants are given a ton of camera gear, which they must carry about at all times in case something insane occurs, like a bear attack.

What is the format of Alone Australia?
Alone is the most successful factual franchise in SBS On Demand’s history and a worldwide smash hit. In the local adaptation, ten courageous Australians equipped with survival skills will be abandoned in isolated areas of the Tasmanian bush. They will be seen facing tough tasks and challenges thrown at them by the ruthless forces of nature, starvation, and—possibly the hardest hurdle—loneliness.
With minimal survival gear, no contact with the outside world, and no information about how the other survivalists are faring, the objective is to remain isolated in the forest for as long as possible. The one-of-a-kind series is wholly self-documented. No film crews, No tricks. It is the severest examination of human volition. The longest-lasting participant will receive $250,000.
Where is “Alone Australia 2023” set?
Elise Archer, the leader of the Ministry for the Arts in Tasmania, has made it public that Tasmania would serve as the location for the first episode of Alone Australia. After being shot in Patagonia, Canada’s Northwest Territories, British Columbia, Northern Mongolia, and northern Norway, the show’s original format originated in America and became a global sensation.
Who are the participants of Alone Australia?
Beck
Beck is a grandma and a STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) instructor at a secondary school. She matriarchs her little family, which includes many farm animals, her spouse, four children, and two grandchildren.
Beck, an earth mother, spent her formative year camping and fishing almost every weekend. She intentionally plans her time so that she may spend as much time in the wilderness and casting a line as she can since she feels more at home there than anywhere else. She is eager to take advantage of the chance to advocate for LGBT+ First Nations ladies in their early 40s.
Chris
Chris is a single man who lives independently on the coast with his closest buddy Billy, his devoted Jack Russell, his large vegetable garden, and his chooks. Chris is a former Iraq War veteran with PTSD and finds that being alone in nature, near the seaside, and away from the hustle and bustle is immensely healing.
Chris started making and distributing content about his fishing adventures to connect with those going through similar experiences following the service. Chris is an ardent fisherman, abalone and crayfish free diver, and self-sufficient beach, ocean, and spear fisherman.
Duane
Duane is an enthusiastic amateur surfer and a jovial wildlife and environmental officer. His professional experience has encompassed the military, fire customer service, and now the countryside, where he traps animals for scientific study.
Gina
Gina is a facilitator, a bushcraft instructor, a meditation guide, a barefoot nomad, a singer, a dancer, and a prehistoric hunter. Gina feels most at home in the jungle as a diverse creative. Jimmy is the youngest of ten at 22 years old, yet he is not inexperienced. Ever since he started hunting at five, he has been learning what you can self-provide from the land through experience, trial, and error.
