He also kissed Bu-Yeon (Ko Yoon-Jung), which is a difficult move to interpret right now. Was he acting this way because he mistook her for Naksu? Was it there in the haze?
Or is he desiring a fresh start, accepting the priestess’s care for him? It was interesting to watch how these concerns are resolved, as well as how Jang Uk is influenced after he realizes his present fiancee genuinely does house his first love’s soul.
In other developments, Jin Mu (Jo Jae-Yoon) and the Queen failed in their attempt to take Jinyowon from the Ho family. gyeong’s latest plan of having a soul shifter (who they would frame as Naksu) kill Bu-Yeon (leading to Jang Uk being accused) fell poorly and actually relieved Daeho. After all, the public now believes Naksu is no longer a threat as a result of Jang Uk’s clever methods, which were supported by Park Jin (Yoo Jun-sang) and Ho-Jeong.
