On 7 September 2020, when the production team was there to announce the release date of After We Fell, it was also announced that the After Ever Happy is under pre-production. And since then, fans are excited about this fourth sequel.
The shooting for After Ever Happy and the preceding one started on 4 October 2020 in Sofia, situated in Bulgaria ( a small country in southeast Europe). And wrapped up on 18 December 2020. But on 24 June 2021, Castille Landon proclaimed that the movie is unfinished as they still had to work on some parts like music and sound.
The shooting of this film, along with After We Fell, required three hundred crew members. The two series were completed in almost five months after 52 shoots.

Josephine Langford is playing the character of Tessa young. She is the main character and a loyal student and daughter. She fell in love with Hardin Scott in her first year of university. And later, she found out she is in a toxic relationship with Hardin Scott. So, she must leave him to pursue her career. But it was not as easy as it sounded. She got trapped in it.
Hero Fiennes Tiffin played the character of Hardin Allen Scott. He is another lead character in the movie. Hardin is a mysterious man who had a difficult past. He is not even sweet and innocent as Tessa first thought about him. The movie follows the complicated love story of Tessa Young and Hardin Allen Scott.
