The story features Kuga Ichirou, whose father just passed away after he graduated high school, and made his debut as a manga artist. He was already being serialized at the time, so instead of looking for a job, he decided to manage the household finances with just his manuscript fees, and the rent from the apartment his father left.
In serialization with great acclaim in the monthly issue of Anko, his manga is being published, but according to him, it is not selling very well in order to at least allow his sister and brother to go to university, he has to give it his all.
A Galaxy Next Door Episode 2 Recap
Later in the episode, we find out that after many efforts he finally gets a call from his editor, who reveals that they have arranged an assistant for him, at the same time his little sister shows up, who after gearing the news gets really excited, and says that he is going to predicts his future with the color cards, but later it turned out to be colorless, that means both his future as well as his manuscripts are blank.
After some time, we see that Kuga’s editor says that although he has assigned him an assistant, however, she is not much familiar with the place where Kuga is residing, and asks him to pick her up, where Kuga says that this time he is okay to go to any length to have an assistant.
When finally reached that place, he finds out that his assistant is a young beautiful girl, standing under a tree, wearing a gorgeous black outfit, and holding an umbrella.
Later, this new girl introduces herself as Goshiki Shiori and says that she will be his assistant from now on and will be in his care. After that, without wasting any more time, Kuga straight up asks her if she can start to work right away.
Later in the episode, he first apologizes to her and says that usually, he would ask her to come in when she is available but this time it is an emergency, so he would like her to start right away.
Kugo then offers Shiori a place to sit at a table and gives her some of his past prints and storyboards and asks her to use the tools around there or any tools she is comfortable with. Kugo then adds that they have also arranged a separate room for her life, so whenever she wants to change her clothes or something, she can use it.
