Rein and his companion were asked to give aid by a female knight, Stella Enplace, to help with the matter regarding the local Lord and his son.
The son in question is Edgar, who had come to Rein’s party and tried to buy Luna and Sora but was sent away by Rein. Edgar leaves but is approached by Arios, and the two scheme to put Rein to rest. Rein has no idea what is happening behind the scenes but is lured by Edgar once he learns he has captured a Demi-God girl. The team gets to the rescue, and it is soon revealed that all of it was a trap to kill Rein.
Being a part of the Hero’s party is a great honor, and you are bound to run into adventure, and getting kicked out is the biggest disgrace. Rein was a party member to Arios (the Hero) with lackluster skill and was told to go once the party had enough of his antics. With nothing to his name and nowhere to go, Rein gets to work that might make use of his skill of talking to animals. He goes through adventures, exams, and chances upon meeting with one of the strongest species, a girl from the cat tribe.
For him rescuing her, he makes a contract with her which grants him some of her powers. And as the two new adventurers journey along they, Rein makes contracts with other animal species and gains their power. This leads him to become one of the strongest people in the kingdom, and his party is stronger than Arios. Rein is now on a journey to defeat the many demons that he would have had he stuck with Arios. They made Arios envious, and he decided to take care of Rein before he could deal a deadly blow to the Demon king and its army.
