Preston A. Whitmore II’s best-known Christmas movie, This Christmas, has been brought back to life as the holiday spirit’s finally here. The movie was first seen in theatres on November 21st, 2007. It revolved around the family of Whitfields, who finally managed to gather on time in one place.
Shirley Whitfield is joined by all of her half a dozen children for the first time, but rather than it becoming a good family time, and the days quickly lead to various revelations and life-changing moments. Through it all, the Whitfields manage to escape only with the help of the love they have for each other.
The movie has managed to gain positive reviews for its family dynamics, and although the budget was around 13 million, the show garnered almost 50 million through its screenings. Most of the scenes we see in the movie are filmed in various regions spread over Los Angeles.
