The Sex Lives of College Girls Season 2 Episode 7 & 8 Recap
This week saw two major episodes of The Sex Lives of College Girls, preparing us for the season finale next week. New relationships, a new couple getting together, someone is coming out to their father, and heartbreak. Here’s a rundown of what happened in Season 2, Episodes 7 and 8.
Eric broke their relationship after discovering Bela and Dan were having an affair. Bela tried to explain who, what, and why, but Eric was uninterested. Bela’s childhood friend came to see her at Pre-Fresh week, which is focused on students who might attend Essex.
When she arrived, she learned that her friend Bria had gotten hot and didn’t want anything to do with her. Bela plans a dorm party while resting against the wall, trying to keep Bria calm, but Bria doesn’t show up. Bela realises why the pair reconciles after a conversation in which Bria explains why.
Whitney is having an affair with Andrew, but they both know they must stop. Despite their understanding, it occurred again. Whitney informs her friends what happened, and they agree to stop meeting in places where they are alone.
So Andrew and Whitney meet at the library, which is unimportant because they hook up there. So far, so good, until Canaan walked in on them. Kimberly is approached by the union and gladly agrees to begin protesting their salary. When things start to slow down, she calls the Senator (Whitney’s mother) for help, and she comes to the rescue.
The Senator startled Kimberly after she delivered a statement that featured a remark from a slave owner, but Kimberly was able to help fix it, resulting in the demonstrators gaining what they wanted. Canaan and Lila later advise Kimberly that she has a type and that she and Jackson have nothing in common.
This, of course, leads her on a mission to discover what they share. Jackson confronts him, explaining why it’s a good thing they don’t have interests. Near the conclusion of tearing things down, he mentioned that he didn’t want to share everything with someone he was dating. Kimberly was taken aback by his remarks, but the couple is now dating.
Back in Essex, Leighton and Tatum’s fathers were friends. As a result, they all ate at the same restaurant at the same time. Leighton got concerned and told Tatum that her father had no idea she had left, to which Tatum replied that everything was OK.
At dinner, Leighton eventually came out to her father, which was awkward at first, but her father acknowledged that not knowing this about his daughter devastated him. The eighth episode finished with Leighton and Tatum kissing, but Tatum’s phone received a text asking if they could meet up.
