In The Rings Of Power Episode 3, Arondir will be held captive by Orcs, who he will bravely set free along with any other captives before racing to the Elven tower to alert them to the Orc’s return. When Bronwyn arrives at the Elven Tower, the Elves will initially reject her claims before Theo turns into a full Orc, and Arondir, who just made it there in time, will have to face off with him. We’ll learn more about the Dwarves’ ambitions soon; based on my suspicions, Elrond will have to convince them to abandon their misguided quest. We’ll find out more about the person who saved Galadriel, and he’ll either support her quest or prove to be an obstacle.
The Lord of the Rings prequel series has finally arrived, and there is a lot to discuss. We all know how much money Amazon Prime Video invested in creating this, and many people were concerned about how it would end out. Although there was some hope among fans that this may at least be worth a watch, there were some doubts, especially in light of how loved Peter Jackson’s critically acclaimed movie trilogy still is.
Now that The Rings of Power’s first two episodes are available to watch, let’s just get this out of the way. They’re excellent! Such a huge relief. The Rings of Power introduces us to so many characters that it nearly feels overwhelming, but each one’s story is interesting enough to keep you interested. The visuals are also really stunning! I wish I could see this show on a large screen. Let’s hope the season continues to be this good.

The Rings Of Power Episode 3 will release on 9 September 2022 on Amazon Prime. New episodes of The Rings Of Power are released every Friday. And since there are a total of 8 episodes in the first season, you get to see the season finale on 14 October 2022. With story details being guarded more securely than some state secrets, the Prime Video staff is keeping quiet about this one. But that doesn’t mean we can’t make a reasonable assumption about what our friends in Middle Earth might be facing next.
Interestingly, a “Coming This Season” teaser that was included with the first two episodes features a lot of clips of the Human country of Nmenor, hinting that we might see a lot of the star-shaped island nation in the upcoming episode. Galadriel’s seeming rescue by the sailing Númenóreans also did point in that direction. What about the Stranger and the Harfoots, though? Will Elrond be successful in Khazad-dûm?
Are the Southlands in immediate danger, or are they going to get a break? The story might go in a lot of different directions. Don’t forget that Sauron’s specter is slowly but steadily growing in the background of everything. Despite leaving his fingerprints throughout the region, the Dark Lord is still considered to be hidden. When will we find out who he is? After its exciting, world-building, scene-setting, and story-starting pair of premiere episodes, “Rings of Power” will pick back up with a lot more to come.
