While Netflix and Hwang Dong-hyuk are very tight-lipped about the upcoming sophomore season, the series creator dropped a small letter that shed light on the direction of the series. If we remember from the debut season, Seong Gi-Hun was about to board a plane. But had a sudden change of heart, signaling the possibility for a second season.
Well, Dong-hyuk, in his letter, claims that Gi-hun will return, and so will the Front Man. He also teased about Young-hee’s boyfriend Cheol-su making an appearance. But other than that, we don’t know anything else. We’ll have to wait and see. Moreover, as to the cast, we can confirm that Lee Jung-jae will reprise his role as Seong Gi-hun, and Lee Byung-hun will reprise his role as The Front Man. As for the rest, it’s up for grabs because they were killed in the debut season.
