As the name suggests, songs are the main aspect of this medicine, and thus, many singers aspire to secure a career in this field. Among many singers, we are introduced to our main protagonist, Kana Fujii, voiced by Karin Isobe. Kana is a very talented singer who decides to become a healer after being inspired by the work they do. Thus, she joins Karasuma Phoniatric Clinic as a trainee and learns that vocal medicine requires more than just singing.

Training here she also meets new friends who are aspiring healers like herself for various reasons. Reimi Itsushiro and Hibiki Morishima are the girls she usually hangs out with. Besides this, she comes across other healers and the people who need healing as she and her friends learn various things under the mentorship of Rie Karasuma. Thus, Healer Girl focuses on the various adventures and hardships these friends go through in order to achieve their goals.

Healer Girl Episode 10 Recap

The 10th episode of Healer Girl is titled “Harowīn Masukarēdo Batafurāi” or “Halloween Masquerade Butterfly!” and was released on the 6th of July 2022. The episode was written and directed by Noboru Kimura and Takuma Suzuki, respectively. This episode heavily focuses on the story of the character Hibiki Morishima. At the start of the episode, we are let in on Hibiki’s past and her reason for her aspirations to become a healer.

However, it also shows that she doubts her skills and is often seen comparing herself to Ria. She fears that she may not be able to heal others as she is not as talented and can’t even sing like Ria. These doubts come to her mind because she wishes to be like Ria.

Luckily, her caretakers tell her that regardless of whether she is good or not or will be good or not, she should give it a try. They motivate her to try becoming a healer and believing in herself. On the other hand, we are taken to the main theme of the episode and as the title suggests, Halloween. We see the girls preparing for Halloween by making hand-made decorations and being excited over their celebrations.

The main girls also go shopping and sing a cute song about Halloween shopping. During the celebration, the people have a concert in which Hibiki bravely volunteers to be the center idol, as she reminiscences the time she left home.

Towards the end of the concert, we have Ria looking at the girls determined to protect the “butterflies that have entered their cocoons”. The episode ends with the girls professing their love for singing and how amazing it felt when everyone was left smiling after they finished their song. Ria then asks them if they wished to take their C-Rank healer exams.
