Barry Season 3 Episode 7 sees Barry almost preparing himself to accept fate as he was minutes away from his death. For the past few episodes, Fuches has been encouraging the families of the people Barry killed. He wants them to go out there and finish Barry. This saw a mother-son duo almost coming close to killing Barry. But he lucked out, and it didn’t stop there.
An entire motorcycle crew came chasing Barry down in the previous episode as he headed to attend Sharon’s dinner party. Barry dodged that too but got caught in Sharon’s trap. Amidst all of this, Fuches found himself connecting with Janice’s father, Jim, who wanted information about her daughter’s killer. Where would this lead Jim, and is he coming for Barry? Let’s find out.
Barry Season 3 Episode 7 Recap
Barry Season 3 Episode 7 opens up in a church focusing on Ryan Madison’s father. Ryan Madison was the same guy Barry was sent to kill in the show’s first episode. Instead of him, the Chechens did the job. Cut to the present, we see Sharon trying to take care of Barry’s situation. She poisoned him in the previous episode.
A few minutes later, we see Barry somehow walking out of the house to find himself on a beach. This is probably a projection of his afterlife. On the beach, he sees a car driving by, and out comes Ryan’s father, George Krempft. In the present, Ryan’s father has taken a dying Barry as his hostage.
George had prepared himself to kill Barry and was delivering his speech. Meanwhile, in the afterlife, Barry himself was looking forward to his coming death. But, in the present, it seems like George killed himself, and he managed to bring Barry to a hospital in time.

Amidst all of this, Albert continues his investigation. Janice’s father, Jim Moss, had a talk with Fuches, and he brought him straight to Albert. The cops recognize him as the assassin responsible for the Monastery incident. Albert had a talk with Fuches alone with cameras off and got to know a hell of a deal about Barry and what went wrong with their friend Chris.
Apart from that, Jim found out that even Cousineau claimed that Barry was responsible for Jancie’s death. We saw Jim paying a visit to Cousineau, and the latter denied saying anything against Barry. But Jim saw how Cousineau was sweating and knew that he was hiding the truth.
Coming to Sally, she tried to work around her new job with BanShe. Things went out of hand when she realized Natalie got her own show at the same place. This saw Sally going off on Natalie, who recorded the whole thing. It quickly went viral on the internet. Sally did record an apology but also told the truth and was not ready to back away from it. Lastly, Hank got himself caught in an attempt to look for the Bolivians.
Barry Season 3 Episode 7 Review
Barry Season 3 Episode 7 sees Barry almost coming in a circle with his mistakes and ready to accept his fate as we saw in an afterlife sequence. At least that’s what the arc with Ryan’s father George suggests. For most of the episode, we saw Barry taking a backseat while Ryan’s father struggled with the decision to kill Barry or not. It seems like Ryan’s father won’t go to that extent and pulled the gun on him.
So another one of Fuches planted bombs failed to take out Barry. But not anymore, as Fuches seems to have told the much-needed information to Albert. The FBI officer has a history with Barry and has been suspecting him since his arrival. After going in circles, Albert has that one thing he needs to chase Barry, and he is going all out.
Albert isn’t the only one up for this, as Jim seems to be making his own moves out there. Fuches’s confession and Cousineau keeping the truth away certainly told Jim that her daughter’s killer is out there. It’s either Albert or Jim getting to Barry first in the upcoming finale of Barry.
Lastly, we had another brilliant performance by Sarah Goldberg. Sally saw her own friend betraying him to create a watered-down show of Sally. We can feel what Sally went through, but she continued on the path of destruction. As we close to the finale, Sally is on a completely opposite side of where she was in the premiere of Barry Season 3.
