Science Fell In Love So I Tried To Prove It Season 2 Episode 10 Recap
The tenth episode starts with Yukimura teaching professor Kagurano Kaihou’s daughter. Although Kagurano’s daughter is a fast grasper, she is not so interested in her studies. After the class is over, Yukimura is leaving the house just when professor Kagurano arrives and starts asking Yukimura how his daughter is doing. Just when Yukimura is about to answer, Kagurano starts criticizing his daughter saying that she is an idiot. He goes as far as to say why she is born in a family full of intellects.
To this, Yukimura replies by giving two examples of two different experiments. First, he asks Kagurano if he knows about the Pygmalion effect. Yukimura explains how wrong information was given to a bunch of students in this experiment and later they started doing well in academics. Next, he talks about Jane Elliot’s experiment. Both these experiments wielded the results that if a child is praised and said that they can do better, they will surely succeed.
The next day we see the college festival. Kosuke arrives and sees the popular cosplayer KiraKira sisters of whom he is a big fan. Ibarada has called the duo to help them in Yukimura’s experiment on how physical appearance can affect one’s mind. The sister duo manages to convince Yukimura to cosplay a female character (this part was hilarious). We then see Kagurano’s daughter arriving and Himuro walks her around the festival. The episode ends with Kagurano seeing his daughter studying and giving a small smile.
