Under The Banner Of Heaven Season 1 Episode 7 Recap
Under The Banner Of Heaven Season 1 Episode 7 opens up with Bill Tada interrogating Prophet Onias. Pyre soon joins them and Onias tells them about Ron’s revelations. The list of people who needed to be removed. Onias also came to disclose that Ron knew about Diana’s location. At this point, Onias believed Ron might have already killed Dianna.
Onias’ theory proved to be wrong when a cashier from a store confirmed seeing Dianna and her kids four days ago in Florida. The detectives managed to locate Ron’s car which leads them to Chip and Ricky, the men Doreen mentioned. The ones who might have tagged along during the murders.
Chip and Ricky confessed during interrogation that yes they were present during the murders. But they were not part of all this. They hardly believe in God. They confessed that it was Dan who killed Brenda and Ron helped him in doing so. Ricky and Chip guided the detectives to go to Reno where they could actually find Ron and Dan.
The detectives managed to find murder weapons and eventually figure out that Ron and Dan might be staying at a Casino. Meanwhile, the cops found Dianna and her kids. Dianna didn’t take Brenda’s death easily. She later escaped the custody to go out there and kill Ron on her own.

Under The Banner Of Heaven Season 1 Episode 7 Review
Under The Banner Of Heaven Season 1 Episode 7 pumps up the adrenaline as the last few pieces in the Lafferty case come together. The show completely delves into the slow narrative to tell the horrific story of the murders committed by the Lafferty brothers. But the finale over here might be lengthy but kept us on the edge of our seats.
Ron and Dan were built to be big bad. There is no doubt that viewers spent time watching the show hating them. The finale finally came to reveal how the murders went down. The way everything was orchestrated, Dan and Ron form themselves to be those characters we were dying to be caught alive. Like Pyre said, if they die, they will die believing all of this is god’s plan.
Pyre’s character development is pretty good as we continue to see him questioning his faith. It all started with him reading that red book. It continues to build up over here as well as they are closer to solving the case. Pyre starts realizing that he might be wrong about it all.
Even Tada takes the centre stage to tell a story from his side. He encourages Pyre to adhere to his duties and shines during the finale. Overall, unlike most of the season, Under The Banner Of Heaven Season 1 Episode 7 was a fast-paced episode taking us from one event to another to connect all the dots of the murders committed by the Lafferty brothers.
