Stranger Things Season 4: Part One Ending
This season begins with Eleven as a child seemingly murdering all of the other subjects in Brenner’s experiment, but as the series progresses, we learn that this isn’t the case.
Hawkins locals aren’t having much of a good time. “Vecna,” a new Upside-Down baddie in town, is interfering with people’s thoughts and scaring them with nightmares before killing them. What could be worse? In the next sections, we shall see— Who dies at the end? What was Eleven’s strategy for defeating One? Who is Venca? You will catch up with much more!
What Happened With Hopper?
Hopper was being imprisoned in Russia. The first major revelation of this season was how Hopper survived the events that transpired at the end of Season 3. That was evident when the explosion occurred in the lab at the end of Season 3, leading us to believe he was murdered. He was able to jump out into a safe zone to take cover before attempting to flee. However, he was apprehended by Russian security and sent to a Russian prison.
Hopper was tormented, but it was his sheer grit and willpower that allowed him to survive after being tortured to the point of death. They recognized him as someone more valuable to them alive than dead. This was the beginning of his survival arc. Due to his knowledge and previous fight experience, he also fights off a Demogorgon in the arena. After escaping the Demogorgon, Hopper and Joyce reunited. It was a moment of pure joy.
What Happens With Victor Creel’s Family?
If you watch Season 4, you’ll notice an elderly man with a white beard and gritty, damaged eyes. He is Victor Creel. He owned the Creel house. But something so unexpected happens to happen after.
Back in the late 50s, Victor Creel believed his entire family was being tormented by some evil entity but it was his son. He was the one who possessed remarkable and horrifying abilities and was the source of the pain for the whole family. Vecna (Victor’s son) honed his abilities at Creel House, murdered animals, tortured his own family, and even murdered his mother and sister.
Nancy: Vecna’s Victim
In the final moments, we saw Nancy become Vecna’s newest victim. We know that Vecna preys on people who are haunted by things from their past. We witnessed this with Chrissy and the car accident he was in, and with Victor and the shelling, he ordered on the house. Also, max for feeling bad for not stepping up and assisting Billy and, later, Nancy. She felt guilty for Barbara’s death in season one and couldn’t get it out of her head. She was supposed to meet her one evening, but she never showed up since she preferred to spend time with Steve. Barbara’s final words begged Nancy to help her, but she never arrived.
Nancy clung to her guilt. Three seasons later, something was revealed to us as viewers, as well as something we didn’t know she still held on to. Following this, she appeared to be locked in the upside-down cast under Vecna’s control, while Steve shook her in an attempt to break the spell.
Nancy, while in this state, learned the origins of Vecna and who he was as a person, which we saw collide with Eleven’s scenes. She knew everything now.
Who is Vecna?
Vecna, an upside-down humanoid beast, is one of the scariest parts of the current season. He lulls his prey into a state of fantasy before ruthlessly murdering them. Vecna, the limb-cracking Demo Monster, is the major adversary of Season 4 of Stranger Things. He is a disgusting creature with scary white eyes and a dangerously constructed nose.
In the build-up to this, the characters grow engrossed in fantasy and begin to experience intense hallucinations that resemble a nightmare from which they cannot awaken.
He was given the moniker Vecna by the Hellfire club because, in Dungeons & Dragons, Vecna was a great wizard who turned into a lich aka an undead creature. As we learn more about his past through Eleven, this proves to be accurate.
A final struggle between Eleven and One reveals the origins of Vecna. 001 and Vecna describe their history to Eleven and Nancy, but they are the same person.
The Project “Nina” & Eleven
The true disclosures at the ending came from the scenes with Eleven in the facility. Throughout the season, viewers are led to assume that she was the one who started the slaughter. Eleven spent the entire season working on Project Nina, which Brenner and the team devised for her to regain her powers. She still lacked her powers as a result of events at the end of Season 3.
The project simply played back recordings of all of her sessions when she was younger in the facility and retrained her memory to prevent them from being buried so deeply. Her brain was preventing her from using her abilities. This endeavor assists her in repairing the damaged connections.
The Truth
Coming close to knowing about the ending of Stranger Things Season 4 Part 1. We witness a guy aiding Eleven all season who is significantly more involved than we believed. He turned out to be the all-powerful number One that we had only heard about in passing. He was highly involved in everything throughout, and he was shrouded in mystery whenever he appeared on film. Eleven removed the tracker from his neck as they intended to flee, which not only tracked him but also prevented him from using his powers. Because as soon as it was taken away, he regained control and slew the guards, revealing himself to Eleven.
He tricked Eleven into sticking behind and planning the escape with him. And while she was waiting, he stormed inside the room and attacked everyone in there. Eleven came in because she heard all of the screams. One consoles him, assuring him that she is in a better position than they are.
He asks her to join him and told her that he wanted to make his own rules. He tells her all about how he became the one he was. But his assurances and false chats do not persuade her. She declined her offer to join him and didn’t believe him. They, on the other hand, start a battle. One wins a segment and lifts Eleven into the air. Eleven fights back tears of blood in her eyes as she recalls the day she and her mother were born and Eleven being taken away from her mother.
She regains her emotions, and strength, shouts, and slams into him with a crash. She smashes Number One into the wall, disintegrating him and opening a gate that allows the upside-down to exist. It was the very thing that gave birth to Vecna. One transforms into Vecna as he falls upside-down.
Whilst it was going on, Mike, Will, Argyle, and Jonathan were all looking for Eleven. This was all about the ending of Stranger Things Season 4 Part 1. The final two episodes of Volume 2 dropping on July 1st have got a lot for us. Stay tuned!
