1. Jisoo
Kim Jisoo was born on January 3, 1995, in Gunpo, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. Although she is the eldest out of all of the BLACKPINK members, she is the youngest in her family, having an elder brother and sister. Jisoo had joined YG Entertainment as a trainee in the year 2011, meaning that she had trained for five years before debuting with BLACKPINK. Moreover, she was the third member to be revealed to the public. BLACKPINK’s lead vocalist and visual had also appeared in many advertisements and songs before debuting too. Furthermore, Jennie joined YG Entertainment as a trainee in the August of 2010, meaning that she trained for five years and 11 months before debuting. Jennie was the first member of Blackpink that was revealed to the public with a photo of herself titled ‘Who is that girl?’. She starred In G-dragon’s That XX and sang for his song ‘Black’ and Lee Hi’s Special.

Rosé’s real name is Roseane Park. Furthermore, she was born in New Zealand, raised in Australia, and moved to Korea to pursue her dreams of becoming a star. Her birthday is on February 11. When Rosé was fifteen years old, she attended a YG Entertainment audition and placed first among a whopping seven hundred participants. Rosé moved to Australia at the age of seven and was studying law before she decided to move to Korea and become a Kpop idol. In 2012, Rosé even featured on G-Dragon’s hit song ‘Without You,’ which topped the Billboard charts for many days.
Her contribution to the extended play was revealed only after her debut as a Blackpink member. After joining YG Entertainment, Rosé trained for four years before debuting as a member of Blackpink. After the successful debut, Rosé also appeared on the singing variety show ‘King Of Masked Singer,’ where she won the audience’s hearts with her magical voice.

Lalisa Manobal, more popularly known by her stage name Lisa is the youngest among her fellow members, aka maknae, of Blackpink. Furthermore, Lisa was born as Parnpriya Manobal on March 27, 1997, in Burriram Province of Thailand. She is the only child in her family. An interesting fact about Lisa’s family is that her father is a renowned MasterChef named Marco Bruschweiler. Lisa started dancing at the age of four and even joined a dance crew with GOT7’s Bambam. In 2010, at a YG audition with over four thousand participants, a thirteen-year-old Lisa Manobal emerged as the winner.
Lisa joined YG Entertainment in 2011 and trained for five years before debuting as a member of Blackpink. Additionally, Lisa is the first YG Entertainment trainee who is not ethically Korean. In 2021, Lisa made her solo debut with her debut album titled ‘Lalisa’. The album went on to break multiple records.
