What Is The Story of The K-drama Chocolate’?
The story of the k-drama ‘Chocolate’ Lee Kang, a neurosurgeon, and Moon Cha Young, a chef. Lee Kang and Moon Cha Young first met when they were kids in the countryside. Living with his mother, Lee Kang dreamt of opening a small restaurant. As he saw Cha Young looking for food, he made her something delicious. While he asked her to come and see her the next day as well, he couldn’t be there because of some unfortunate event. Cut to the future, Lee Kang moved to the city and worked as a neurosurgeon at her grandmother’s hospital. Moon Cha Young became a chef and lived in Greece, running away from her family.
Having no idea about each other’s existence other than the memories from their childhood, the two met once again. As Moon Cha Young becomes a chef at the hospice ward where Lee Kang is transferred because of the biased board members, things aren’t the same. While Cha Young did remember who Lee Kang was, Lee Kang, on the other hand, had forgotten about Cha Young and needed a little reminder. Leading a life close yet so far, the truth comes out soon as they heal their own emotional scars by cooking meals for the patients at the hospice.

While the k-drama ‘Chocolate’ gets its name from a sweet dish. It was something Lee Kang was supposed to make for Moon Cha Young when they first met. The k-drama also focuses on some more plots. Lee Kang is figuring out his life as he proves himself in the family and gets compared with his cousin Lee Joon. While Lee Joon has demons of his own, with one of them being a lover, he can’t have them. And his over-competitive family keeps setting him up against his cousin Lee Kang. Along with family matters, it also focuses on the members working in the hospice ward, including the patients.
