Komi Can’t Communicate Season 2 Episode Schedule

Our favorite romance anime, Komi Can’t Communicate Season 2 is finally out with six episodes already in the bag, so if you want to keep up with the dates and watch as soon as another drops, keep reading! Fans have been praying for an anime adaptation for years, and their desires were finally fulfilled in May 2021 when the anime adaptation was officially revealed. The story is based on Tomohito Oda’s manga of the same name, which has been published in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday since May 2016.

Studio OLM, best renowned for their work on different Pokemon animated series and their current smash “Odd Taxi,” is once again animating the series. Ayumu Watanabe is back as the series director, and Kazuki Kawagoe is back as the main director. Deko Akao will write the series scripts once more, and Atsuko Nakajima will create the character designs

Episode 1 of the second season had released on the 7th of April, last month. It will air for 12 episodes, with a new episode airing every Thursday night. The first episode was available on Netflix on April 27th, 2022, three weeks following the Japanese broadcast.

What Happened In Season 1?

With the completion of the “School Festival Arc,” the first season came to a close in chapter 72. The second season will begin by adapting Chapter 73, in which Najimi suggests that they all go to karaoke to end the day with a song after the spectacular culture fair. Komi enjoys socializing with everyone, but the tension of singing in front of everyone is threatening to derail the entire vacation.

The story revolves around Komi Shoko, a gorgeous but extremely timid young woman whose greatest wish is to overcome her severe social anxiety and gain 100 friends. When she meets Tadano Hitohito and they have an unplanned moment alone together, he swiftly recognizes her nervousness and encourages her to write on the chalkboard, becoming the first person to properly speak with her. She expresses years of sadness about her condition after profusely apologizing to Tadano, and he assures her that he will assist her.

As Komi gradually overcomes her worries, a slew of wholesome and wonderfully awkward interactions, misunderstandings, and hijinks ensue. Komi has a long list of friends who truly care about her by the end, and she has made significant progress toward her goal.

Komi had barely started high school when we first met her. Her alluring appearance, along with her perceived elegance and soft-spoken demeanor, made her instantly popular. Despite this, she is generally viewed as too terrifying to approach and converse with, so her admirers observe her from distance. Things start to change as Tadano assists her in befriending Najimi Osana, an eccentric socialite who is infamously recognized as everyone’s childhood best friend.

While Tadano gently encourages Komi, Najimi pushes her to make huge gains in her development, which is often too much for Komi to manage. Despite this, Najimi’s persistent pushing has yielded excellent results. After only being able to say a few words and brief sentences to Tadano, Komi is able to react out loud to her new friend Otori after she begs her to help her with her school’s cultural festival. Another impressive thing Komi accomplished was speaking in front of a large crowd while participating in their Rooftop Confessions event.

Komi still has a long way to go to attain her goal of 100 friends, but she now has both friends and supporters to assist her. Her incapacity to speak has resulted in some charmingly hilarious miscommunications, and her entire school regards her as a deity. Others will take some time to realize Komi is just a sweet girl looking for friends, but with their aid, she will undoubtedly achieve her aim.

If you are currently resident in Japan, the show can be found on the TV Tokyo channel. If not, don’t panic; fresh episodes of the show will be available on Netflix every Wednesday, three weeks after the Japanese broadcast.

This is the first time that an anime (together with Blue Period) will be presented in weekly episodes on Netflix (outside of Japan), with the bulk of exclusive programs launching only after the complete series has finished its local broadcast.
