Written by George Pelecanos, We Own This City is an American miniseries released on 25 April 2022. This miniseries is based on a book, which basically has the same name. And guess what, this American miniseries is based on a true incident that revolves around the Gun Trace Task Force of the Baltimore Police Department. And the corruption that leads them to fall. We Own This City Episodes Release Schedule
We Own This City started airing on Hulu from the 25th of April 2022 onwards. This also means that Part One (title of the first episode) has been aired on the 25th of April at 9 pm on HBO Max and traditional HBO at the same time. The writers of Part One are George Pelecanos and David Simon.
There are a total of six episodes in this miniseries. Each episode is being directed by the same director Reinaldo Marcus Green. Apart from the first one, let us see the release schedule of each episode of We Own This City Episodes.

The Plot of We Own This City
The plot of the mini-series is based on a true event as we mentioned before. The eight officers of the Gun Trace Task Force were accused of doing illegal activities. These activities were forcefully snatching citizens and blackmailing them for money, giving wrong information to the investigator, doing wrong papers work, etc.
The six officers that were involved in doing all these kinds of explicit activities were Daniel Hersl, Jemell Rayam, Evodio Hendrix, Marcus Taylor, Momodu Gondo, Wayne Jenkins, Thomas Allers, and Maurice Ward.
When the matter went worse, the Drug Enforcement Administration started looking into this and what they found out was depressing. The amount that they stole illegally in some or other way from citizens ranged between 200 dollars to 200,000 dollars. On the morning of the 1st March in 2017, all the officers were summoned by internal affairs and got arrested.
Cast and Characters
Jon Bernthal is playing the role of Sgt. Wayne Jenkins. He played the main role in a fraud case related to the Gun Trace Task Force of the Baltimore Police Department.
Wunmi Mosaku is displaying the character of Nicole Steel. He was assigned a position in the United States Department of Justice Civil Right Division.
Jamie Hector is playing the role of Sean M. Suiter who was a homicide detective in the Baltimore Police Department. He was another accused officer involved in the fraudulent case.
Josh Charles is playing the character of Daniel Hersl, another officer involved in the Gun Trace Task Force case.
Darell Britt-Gibson is portraying the character of Jemell Rayam. Mckinley Belcher III is playing Momodu “G Money ” Gondo. Rob Brown is playing the role of Maurice Ward, a civilian clothing wear officer involved in the case of the Gun Trace Task Force.
Dagmara Dominczyk is playing the character of Erika Jensen, who was assigned as an investigator in the GTTF case. David Corenswet is playing the David McDougall.
Don Harvey is appearing in the role of John Sieracki. Larry Mitchell is playing the role of Scott Kilpatrick. Other than the mentioned actors, you will see some recurring actors in the series as well.
