What is Young Justice Season 4 All About?
Season 4 of Young Justice is titled Young Justice: Phantoms. This season has a total of 26 episodes divided into two parts. The first part of Young Justice: Phantoms contains 13 episodes that have been telecasted between the 16th of October and the 30th of December in the year 2021. The remaining 13 episodes fall under the second part of the series that started telecasting from the 31st of March in 2022 onwards. But unfortunately, some episodes are postponed.
Young Justice: Phantoms follow the lives of teen superheroes, commonly called “The team”. These include Robin, Aqualad, Kid Flash, Superboy, Miss Martian, Red Arrow, and Artemis. “The Team” is attached to the “Justice League” in the show which includes Superman, Flash, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, Batman, Martian Manhunter, Aquaman, and Flash.
The narrative of season 4 began one year after the end of season 3. The season is divided into four plots between different superheroes. The first plot follows the visit of Miss Martian and Superboy onto Mars concerning attending a marriage ceremony. There, they faced racial turmoil which held out after the death of the Martian king Ma’alefa’ak. At last, while stopping a bomb, Superboy faces death which leaves Miss Martian heartbroken.
The second plot follows Tigress who visits her sister Cheshire when she heard that Lady was about to claim defectors of League of Shadows which included Orphan, Cassandra Savage, and Onyx.
Zatanna faced trouble when Child expressed his desire of becoming Lord of Chaos by replacing Klarion. The last part includes the return of Kaldur’ahm to Atlantas with a mission. And Rocket was sent to New Genesis in relation to the Justice League business.
Release Date of Young Justice Season 4 Episode 21
The release date of Young Justice season 4 episode 21 was 5 May 2022. But because of the mid-season break, it would not release before 31st December. The Young Justice season 4 episode 21 will debut on HBO Max. Moreover, there is no title given to this episode which might release somewhere in the future.
Young Justice Season 4 Episode 19 & Episode 20 Recap
Episode 20 of Young Justice Season 4 (Forbidden Secrets of Civilizations Past) has been released on the 28th of April. In this episode, we saw Jay’s 102nd birthday. It was expected that this episode will bring all the superheroes together to celebrate his birthday.
Episode 19 (Encounter Upon the Razer’s Edge) of season 4 was released on its given date. The most fascinating thing in this episode was the return of Razer as Blue Lantern after so many years. Last time we saw Razer in the Green Lantern animated series.

Razer as a blue lantern came to New Genesis to get his Red Lantern ring back from Metron. Metron denied giving it and by saying that he would probably return it when he gave his blue ring. Meanwhile, Rocket receives a call that informs her about her son’s classwork.
During this Razer attacked Metron and because of this, she got injured. Using his enormous strength, he took back the red ring from Melton and joined both the rings together. After this, he helped Rocket in dealing with her injury. And soon after, he went on his journey to search for Aya.
