She begins narrating her story by explaining how she was riding her scooter on the way to work. During this time someone driving an SUV with tinted windows intercepted and cursed at her using his fingers. What’s more, the driver had been careful enough to cover his face and identity. She claims to have followed him in hopes of catching a glimpse of the license plate. However, she was unsuccessful and caught the car again at a nearby signal. The driver continued to throw slurs and curses at her vulgarly. It was then that she realized the driver was definitely a high-profile individual, most possibly an idol. However, she refused to provide a name as she was sure that such disclosure would bury her inside the ground.
A vlog video containing a record of this situation was released on the internet and fans started speculating the driver to be Chanyeol from EXO. They reached this conclusion because the car looked very similar to the one owned by EXO Chanyeol. Moreover, hawk-eyed fans spotted that the fingers and hands of the individual in the video resembled Chanyeol’s features. They started accusing him in the comments section of all major social media platforms.
SM Entertainment denies rumors of Chanyeol threatening
One day after this incident came to the light of the agency and fans, SM entertainment denied all these rumors. On 27th April, SM Entertainment released a statement confirming that the rumors of Chanyeol threatening a female driver as false. Chanyeol’s alleged threats have been denied and rendered fake.
Sm entertainment has also expressed firmly that they will take legal action against the parties who are behind the spread of this misinformation. They are deeply enraged by such false allegations and are not afraid to take the matters to the court. They have confirmed that Chanyeol’s personal vehicle is entirely different from the one visible in the vlog. Moreover, they have also confirmed that the person appearing in the video is not Chanyeol.
