In a shocking turn of events, RHOP star Ashley Darby is parting ways with her husband, Michael Darby. The couple was married for almost eight long years. The Real Housewives of Potomac star issued a statement stating how the pair had anticipated sharing every single day from that moment forward. Unfortunately, this is not their current reality as they decide to separate.
Ashley further explained how she is well aware of the fact that there will be many speculative views as to why they called it quits. The couple had earlier made headlines for their controversial outbursts that included Michael Darby allegedly behaving inappropriately while Ashley was on a cast trip with their baby son Dean. There were pictures of Michael with other women as Ashley later confronted him about it.
The Pair Tied The Knot Back In 2014 And Have Been Together Since
As the statement said, Ashley adds how people will be quick to assume that the causes were too much intrusion by reality TV into the most personal parts of our lives, age gap issues, cultural problems, or child-rearing differences. She further admitted that pieces of all these may have affected their pure love for each other, but no one reason is the root cause of their mutual decision to go their separate ways.

The RHOP star cleared the air and stated that the pair are simply at very different stages of their lives and have very different goals for their futures. The pair reportedly want the other to achieve true happiness and fulfillment and feel that they cannot do this together.
The two tied the knot back in 2014 and shared sons, Dean, 2, and Dylan, 1. They have been on the television reality show since its very premiere in 2016. Michael’s name was embroiled in a major controversy when a cameraman accused him of groping him during filming for Season 4. Michael was later charged with accusations of improper sexual cha regs and misdemeanor. The charges were later dropped. Viewers have time and again pointed out how Ashley has covered up for her husband on the show.
